About Us

From radio to live theatre to the Sydney Opera House, Laura Milke Garner has worked behind the scenes of shows with big names, up-and-comers and everyone in between.

For over 10 years Laura has been working freelance in the arts industry; gaining experience, developing skills, making contacts, having coffee. Her success is a result of her professionalism and her drive to always put on the best show possible.

Just a few highlights include working as a producer and project coordinator for ten years at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Melbourne Fringe, working at Triple R as the Special Events and Sponsorship Manager and was producer of the 2006 season of The Breakfast Show on Channel 31. Laura also created and produced the award winning Whodunnit Live Radio Plays which played at the The Arts Centre in Melbourne, Sydney Opera House, won the Melbourne Fringe Festival Directors Choice Award 2002 and developed into a regular segment on Rove. Laura has creatively developed and produced major work for theĀ  Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Melbourne International Arts Festival, Network Ten, 3RRRFM, Channel 31, Comedy@Trades, The Store Room, 45 Downstairs and the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

In between all this she occasionally lectures in radio studies for La Trobe and Swinburne Universities and attends to demands of her very demanding cat, Mabel.
