About the Show
When Connor was 17, his dad turned up unannounced to one of his gigs. Which is fun and awesome and great and all, except they had never met before.
Good Man is an unflinching new rock monologue by award-winning performer and writer Connor Morel that fuses his unique brand of comedic, intimate storytelling with blistering original songs as he recounts that strange night and muses on men’s urinals, whether Johnny Depp is actually a good role model (he isn’t), and the tiny choices in life that make all the difference.
Fresh from its debut season at Adelaide Fringe, boasting rave reviews and a weekly ‘Best of Cabaret’ award (and shortlisted for the overall win), and a limited, sold-out run at Geelong Arts Centre, Good Man is a rocking exploration and rejection of toxic masculinity backed by a live three-piece band.

It is tight and funny, yet never cheap. It is so intimate without ever begging for pity, and clear-eyed about the expectations we carry – Fringe Benefits Podcast – ★★★★★
