Big Heart

Big Heart is about relationships, about the love between mother and child and between siblings. It’s about family and what constitutes one. A Mother adopts children from far and wide – five children from each five different continents: Asia, Europe, Africa, South America, and an indigenous child from her own land, Australia. Big Heart is also about a multi-cultural Australia which both celebrates and struggles with its issues of class and identity: cultural, social, and national.
